Michael Lindeman
Regression Painting (Family…), 2022
finger painted acrylic on mirror
98 x 112 cm (framed)
Me, and my family, love this work! We own a few works by Michael Lindeman from different periods of his career, but recently commissioned this new piece. It speaks to the absurdity and diversity of a family unit in his unique and typically witty way. It sits in our dining room and is a reminder that we love each other, but not to take it all so bloody seriously.

Tony Albert is one of the most important contemporary artists and human beings on this earth. A major work on canvas by him would be a dream – this particular one cleverly references both traditional and contemporary Indigenous practices and is also incredibly striking.
